DSC Power Series
The DSC PowerSeries panels (1616,1832,1864) support IP communications with the TL-150, TL-250, TL-300 and TL260 plus cellular communications with the GS3060, GS2060 and TL260GS.
DSC Alexor
The latest wireless panel, the DSC Alexor supports IP comminications via the TL-300 and TL265, and cellular GPRS communications via the TL265GS, GS2065, and GS3060. The cellular range of transmitters all require activation and an ongoing subscription to the Connect 24 platform. DSC T-Link
The model Tl150 is the most suitable communicator for residential premises where an IP-only path to the monitoring center is acceptable. It is a plug & play solution with little or no programming required. The Tl250 is more suitable for commercial premises but brings along additional complexity to the installation and setup.
You should be aware that there are a few ongoing technical problems with both the Tl150 and Tl250 that DSC seem unable to resolve. You should also be aware that the Tl150 only has the ability to communicate with a single IP server address which makes Internet redundancy a little more difficult.
The Tl150 gives you the ability to remotely arm or disarm your alarm system via a web browser.
